What is Visionary?


Visionary is a trust network of Approved Members opted in to share their objectives and access recommended opportunities, and qualified arranged meetings. How do I join and participate?


To join Visionary, take the Access Survey and schedule a Welcoming Meeting. While all are welcome to apply, prospective Members that were nominated by Visionary and who were referred by an existing Members receive priority review.

During a Welcoming Meeting, Visionary will detail its opt-in benefits for Approved Members and arranged meeting process, while taking note of an applicant's background, current pursuits, and overall credentials. Caliber of business offering, related network demand, and the applicant's propensity to take meetings, and refer other exceptional individuals into Visionary, are considered with care during Visionary's review process.

Business Development as a Service (BDaas)

Visionary’s BDaaS is designed to add a team of 4+ (Engagement Manager, Expert Advisory Partner, Meeting Arranger, Researcher) to your team to deliver more channel strategy, more Qualified Arranged Meetings, more guaranteed results, with less time required, compared to an equivalent business development hire. For 6 month engagements Visionary not only guarantees a pipeline of 10-20 Qualified Arranged Meetings supported to success, but further an ROI objective. If the ROI objective is achieved Visionary is patient to simply continue to grow in a continued engagement. If more time is needed to support the pipeline, Visionary credits an additional 6 months of support. Engagement Manager


Position Description

The Visionary Engagement Manager is a 40+ hour/week consulting role for an entrepreneurial individual with significant sales, account management, business development, and/or finance-investor relations experience/aptitude. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who has a role-up-your-sleeves attitude and for those with, or seeking, experience in a startup environment. The successful candidate(s) will interact daily with top tier entrepreneurs, investors, executives and VIPs in the Visionary Network, and new invitees regarding Visionary Members seeking their connection. The opportunity to attend and represent Visionary and industry conferences is offered to those demonstrating exceptional performance. Engagement Managers are compensated with a share of client retainers and commissions, as well as the opportunity for equity ownership based on longer term performance. The position involves the following:

  • Manage a support team to use Visionary’s proprietary system to generate qualified lead

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Visionary’s solutions according to customer needs and objectives

  • Prepare weekly Progress Reports and Review Sessions on account status

  • Develop Business Relationships by following company strategies in conjunction with sales and marketing to continue to grow their sales pipeline.

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts

  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit


Position Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office

  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

Sales Associate


Position Description

Visionary Access, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate with sales aptitude and experience managing a sales pipeline. The Sales Associate will evaluate Access Survey responses (www.visionaryacess.net/survey) regarding business relationships sought, host prospect Welcoming/Review Session, extend approved Membership invitations, and sell Visionary’s menu of network access services, all using Visionary’s proprietary methodology.

The Sales Associate position at Visionary is a daily, in NYC office consulting role for an entrepreneurial individual with significant sales experience/aptitude, compensated with a draw on generous sales commissions, as well as equity ownership based on performance.

The Sales Associate will: 1) evaluate Access Survey responses and take notes in the company’s CRM, 2) follow up on Access Survey submissions and contact leading entrepreneurs, executives, and investors by phone/email with an invitation into the Visionary Network, 3) coordinate all steps in the sales process – build sales materials, draft proposals, manage a sales CRM pipeline etc. The Sales Director will manage a team of Sales Associates and will be responsible for the overall performance of the sales department to achieve sales targets.

The Sales Associate will use Visionary’s sales/CRM methodology and every day be required to process at least 50 telephone calls, follow up emails, and call/meeting notes via Visionary’s CRM. This is an outbound telemarketing sales role using a CRM.


Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution is required.
  • Outgoing personality with the ability and willingness to make cold calls, speak with people at all professional levels, including senior level executives
  • Proficient in the use of the internet for research and alternative forms of sourcing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and high organizational skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere but also independently

Intern Associate


Position Description

The Visionary Internship is a part-time or day-to-day remote program with regular opportunities to meet in person in New York City, for an individual seeking experience in a start-up environment and to build their network of business relationships. Interns will use a pre-configured CRM do profile/company research, analytical matching with current clients, and email/social media reach outs to top tier entrepreneurs, investors, executives and VIPs in the Visionary Network and new invitees regarding Visionary Members seeking their connection. The opportunity to attend and represent Visionary and industry networking events is offered to those demonstrating exceptional performance. Training will be offered, including the advanced use of a CRM program and business market research skills. Interns will work under the leadership of senior team members with a daily remote touch base. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to learn about investment banking, venture/private equity investing, entrepreneurship, business development/consulting, and database analytics. Once an intern has mastered the core position they are eligible to move into the advanced role, length of time in role depends solely on level of motivation of the candidate.

Advanced Intern Position: A range of advanced roles are available depending on the individual’s interests (ie. financial analyst, business analyst, communications, marketing, IT/Tech, HR, accounting, etc) and you will report to your project manager. You will be responsible for supporting senior management in managing the company’s daily operations and providing business analysis, as-needed. This is a great opportunity to explore the consulting space from a financial transactions / investors’ perspective, as you gain hands-on experience by working directly with the company’s senior staff members. In this role, you will create business analysis, conduct market scan to identify appropriate engagement targets, manage data collection processes, oversee client outreach, and articulate findings in research reports for the management team. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to attend industry conferences and represent the company in official capacity.

Interns will work under the leadership of senior team members on special projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to gain a range of business experiences.
